As an Strategic Account Executive at Okta, you will work closely with C-suite decision-makers to demonstrate how our platform drives secure, seamless access across their workforce. Your focus will be on both new business acquisition and expansion within our existing customer base.
Territory: A mix of new logos and existing customers across NSW, along with the New Zealand market.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Define and execute a clear territory plan with long-term strategic goals and growth targets.
- Lead a cross-functional virtual team, including Partners, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, Renewals, Services, and Business Development.
- Drive consistent pipeline generation and revenue growth, meeting or exceeding quarterly targets.
- Build strong, strategic relationships with customers in NSW and New Zealand, earning trusted advisor status.
- Champion Okta’s value through executive-level presentations, tailored demonstrations, and strategic engagements.
- Establish yourself as a thought leader in identity, security, and cloud transformation.
- Represent and embody Okta’s core values: Love Our Customers, Always Secure, Always On, Build and Own It, and Drive What’s Next.
- Travel as needed to engage customers and key stakeholders.
What you’ll bring:
- 10+ years of field sales experience, consistently exceeding targets in complex sales environments.
- A proven track record of selling enterprise SaaS solutions to large Enterprise organisations.
- Experience working with GSIs and partner channels to drive aligned customer success.
- Strong new business development skills, with deep account planning and execution capabilities.
- A curious, adaptable mindset with a passion for learning and innovation.
- Excellent executive presence and communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with solution selling and frameworks like MEDDPICC is preferred.
- Sydney-based.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
