A Deployment Strategist at Palantir works as part of a driven and creative team to deploy software against complex problems. They synthesise disconnected streams of thought into a cohesive understanding of the problem, the data, the product needs, and the users. Responsibilities include going onsite to meet with customer analysts, identifying relevant datasets, working with customers to build bespoke workflows, leading training sessions, presenting results, and embedding with software engineering and product design teams.
The ideal candidate has extraordinary ability to take on open-ended problems in unstructured environments, is adaptive and introspective, and has experience with programming, scripting, or statistical packages. They must hold an active US DoD Secret or higher Security Clearance and be willing to work from the Research Triangle region.
As a Deployment Strategist, you can expect to travel 25-75% of the time, depending on location and team. Salary is estimated to be between $110,000 and $170,000 per year, with total compensation including Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus, and other potential future incentives.
