IT Systems Business Analyst

Tanium is seeking a dynamic IT Systems Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in leading strategic projects that support the company's objectives.

The Business Analyst will leverage their strong analytical skills and experience with IT workflows and systems to partner with business stakeholders and deliver insightful analysis and recommendations.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
• Conducting comprehensive analysis of business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization
• Developing and presenting detailed business requirements and project proposals
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and monitor solutions
• Developing and maintaining documentation, including process maps, workflow diagrams, and project reports
• Creating and presenting current, transition, and future state architectural diagrams
• Providing first-line support and managing tickets pertaining to the Data Engineering team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Exceptional documentation skills
• Expertise in data analytics, data engineering, data pipelines, integrations, and data warehousing
• Expertise in translating business needs into technical work across critical business processes
• Experience with common enterprise technologies
• Excellent communication skills
• 3+ years of experience in a related field
• 3+ years of experience with common IT technologies
• Understanding of SOX and ITGC compliance
