Accountant - General Ledger (experienced)

The Adler Pelzer Group, a global leader in acoustic and thermal components for the automotive sector, is seeking an experienced Accountant for its General Ledger team at its new Financial Centre of Excellence in Zaragoza.

Job Summary: As a General Ledger Accountant, you will manage general bookings, support month-end closing operations, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage general bookings and month-end closing operations
• Support and participate in time and schedule management
• Open and close modules, communicating with controllers and plants
• Determine and communicate month-end accruals for various topics
• Support pensions, tax, and deferred tax booking and reconciliation
• Manage and implement account reconciliations, controls, and compliance
• Analyse and justify P&L and BS account balances
• Validate month-end closing bookings with controllers
• Interface with internal and external auditors
• Manage account revaluations and foreign currency transactions
• Process payments, bank statements, and bookings

Requirements:

• Finished degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar
• At least 3 years of practical experience in accounting and finance administration
• Experience in a large multinational, ideally in the automotive or manufacturing sector
• SAP knowledge
• Fluent English and Spanish or French
• Experience in a Shared Service environment is advantageous
