Sitting at the intersection of business and technology, the Aladdin Product Management team works closely with developers, researchers, and other stakeholders to innovate, conceptualize, design and pilot new capabilities across the investment lifecycle. As a Product Manager, you will have a positive impact on developing product vision and leading day-to-day execution of the roadmap. There are many strategic areas that need exploration, evaluation, and prioritization, while in parallel ensuring that the tactical needs for continuing to deliver the product are met.
As a Trading Product Manager, you will be focused on aligning product strategy and delivery for Aladdin's trading product offering with a focus on scaling our core, cross-asset class order management capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with the lead Product Manager and Engineering team to define, manage, and execute our product vision to create a best-in-class OEMS.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the product story and roadmap for Aladdin's high scale OEMS trading capabilities.
- Lead Product Delivery Life Cycle (PDLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) ceremonies including maintenance of product roadmaps, requirements, specifications, and release notes.
- Serve as a resource to internal and external clients about our capabilities in the context of their business
- Be a market expert - be ahead of industry, market, and technology trends to build opportunities for BlackRock and better serve our clients.
- Be metric driven. Track and measure usage and feedback to inform product strategy
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management, trading technology, or financial markets.
- Hands-on comfort using AI tools in daily product work (e.g., prompt-based research, summarization, synthesis, draft specifications, competitive scans, workflow mapping, data exploration support) with appropriate judgment and confidentiality
- Experience partnering with engineering and data teams to define API contracts, data interfaces, and constraints, and to translate those considerations into product requirements and trade-offs
- Knowledge of SQL, PowerBI, Azure DevOps and Aha! is a plus.
