Description

The Marketing Director will develop strategy, oversee marketing budgets, and manage a team to create brand awareness and revenue growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing comprehensive marketing strategies for all Kiplinger brands
  • Working with editorial teams to translate brand heritage and values into emotionally resonant storytelling across channels and campaigns
  • Developing strategic partnerships and supporting new revenue streams such as events and memberships
  • Leading the development of campaigns, ensuring creative concepts are impactful, on-brand, and relevant to the target consumer across multiple platforms
  • Managing the creative process internally to bring campaigns to life across all touchpoints, including direct mail, paid and organic social assets, email, websites, ensuring an impactful and cohesive campaign
  • Managing the marketing budget to ensure maximum return on investment
  • Analyzing campaign performance in-market, using in-depth social listening to identify learnings and propose improvements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Marketing Director or equivalent senior leadership role, with a proven track record of marketing transformation and growth. They will also have experience leading teams, project managing, and mentoring staff, as well as demonstrated proficiency in Google Sheets, Slides, and Analytics tools.
