Packaging Technician

Valvoline Global Operations, an affiliate of Aramco, is seeking a Packaging Technician. You will effectively run high-speed packaging equipment, perform hose hookups and line flushing, safely operate forklifts, make machinery adjustments, perform inventory counts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Run high-speed packaging equipment such as fillers, labelers, palletizers, depalletizers, banders, bottle sorters, and box formers.
• Perform hose hookups and line flushing.
• Safely operate forklifts to move materials to packaging lines and full case goods to awaiting trailers.
• Make machinery adjustments to keep packaging lines running smoothly.
• Perform inventory counts and receive/put away materials.
• Collaborate with blenders, other packaging technicians, Team Leads, Managers, and Supervisors for order fulfillment.
• Create, verify, and reconcile inventory counts in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines.
• Perform multiple tasks to ensure work areas are kept clean and organized, and conduct quality checks throughout the shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferably 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with packaging knowledge.
• Forklift driving experience required.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Ability to walk, bend, climb, stoop, and lift periodically.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and critical thinking skills.
• Proactive identification of process improvements.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
