Description
Roblox is seeking a Brand Designer based in Tokyo to support Growth Marketing across APAC. The designer will work closely with marketers, agencies, and business partners to translate briefs into strategically aligned, creatively compelling work that represents Roblox across regional marketing surfaces.
The role requires managing the full design process from concept through production, including briefing internal and external agencies, guiding feedback, and ensuring final asset delivery. A key part of the work is producing a consistent volume of creative, with a target of six or more concepts per month, inclusive of multiple aspect ratios and localization for markets such as Japan and Korea.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7+ years of design experience with an exceptional portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual thinking mixed with meticulous design execution. They will be fluent in software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides, and Keynote.
Responsibilities:
- Review and refine assets to ensure they are culturally relevant, appropriate, and effective across diverse APAC audiences.
- Collaborate closely with the team, mentoring designers, sharing ideas, and elevating the work through openness and craft.
- Take the lead in shaping and presenting design work, communicating thinking clearly and confidently with clients and stakeholders.
- Translate insights and strategy into thoughtful, expressive design systems and identities that move brands forward.
- Enhance the overall Roblox brand by creating compelling, crafted design materials about the brand.
- Contribute to how Roblox is defined and understood across all marketing surfaces.
- Partner with cross-functional partners across the organization to execute on-brand marketing materials.
- Maintain and contribute to the brand identity to ensure design consistency and craft.
Requirements:
- At least 7+ years of design experience.
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking and design execution.
- Fluency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides, and Keynote.
- Native-level Japanese language skills, with Korean language skills a plus.
