Description
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our Ignite team. As a QA Engineer, you will analyse requirements, build, and risks to compose test scenarios and develop acceptance/edge cases across UI, API, and performance layers. You will complete regression/functional/integration testing, identify defects early, and resolve ambiguity via clarification with Product/Engineering. You will implement test plans and initiate improvements to test data, evidence standards, and traceability to requirements. You will collaborate with developers to triage defects, research root causes, and invent clear, reproducible bug reports with strong evidence. You will develop and implement risk-based regression strategies for releases and implement lessons learned to prevent defect recurrence. You will handle diverse scope problems, provide mentorship on semi-complex subjects to senior team members unfamiliar with QA, and drive alignment in ceremonies and defect triage.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in software testing, strong skills in test build techniques, exploratory testing, and requirements analysis for manual test coverage. Hands-on experience with TestRail/Jira (or comparable), API testing via Postman, basic SQL for data validation, and ISTQB Advanced (Test Analyst) or equivalent is preferred.
