You will join a focused and innovative R&D engineering team based in Noida, dedicated to defining and developing end-to-end power analysis solutions. The team values collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous learning. Together, you will work on projects that shape the future of chip design and EDA technology, contributing to Synopsys' leadership in the industry.
As a Senior R&D Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features for Synopsys' power analysis tool using C++. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define end-to-end power analysis solutions, analyze and optimize algorithms to improve tool performance and accuracy, and learn and master new technologies relevant to EDA and power analysis.
You will contribute to code reviews, documentation, and best practices within the team, identify and resolve technical issues throughout the software development lifecycle, and provide technical guidance and support to peers and junior engineers.
Advancing the capabilities of Synopsys' power analysis tools, enabling customers to design more efficient chips, driving innovation in EDA software, contributing to industry-leading solutions, enhancing reliability and scalability of power analysis features for global semiconductor clients, improving user experience and tool performance, directly influencing customer satisfaction, supporting the development of new functionalities that address emerging market needs, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration within the engineering team.
Strong proficiency in C++ programming, solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly, background in power analysis tools or EDA is a plus, experience with software development best practices, including version control and code reviews.
