Description
We are seeking an experienced IMG MFPE Implementation Manager Asean to lead and develop a team of 13 GSRs based in Thailand and Vietnam. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning material flow and packaging for new programs across AAT FTM1 FTM2 FVL KDC, ensuring optimal space utilization and flow efficiency. They will also lead packaging development with Tier 1 suppliers, review and approve packaging designs in compliance with Ford standards, and drive enterprise cost optimization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a team of 13 GSRs based in Thailand and Vietnam
- Owning material flow and packaging for new programs across AAT FTM1 FTM2 FVL KDC
- Ensuring optimal space utilization and flow efficiency
- Leading packaging development with Tier 1 suppliers
- Reviewing and approving packaging designs in compliance with Ford standards
- Driving enterprise cost optimization
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineer - Mechanical, Mechatronic, Robotics, Automation, Data analytics, and over 10 years of experience in managing work with cross-region and global teams across different time zones. They should be proficient in AutoCAD, Teamcenter, Pack assist, PFEP, CMMS, and BOM analysis.
In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to:
- Deliver > 5 innovation projects - AMR/AGV/Karakuri/ AI vision/RFID
- Drive for TVM 5-7 mil$/year
- Drive separate safety improvement projects with a target of 7 projects per GSR per year
- Ensure PKG design is appropriated and cost effective
- Visit local suppliers for PKG readiness and benchmark for best practices including modernization and digitalization
- Proactively and reactively resolve material flow and packaging issues to prevent plant disruption
- Drive for PKG Waste reduction per unit YOY (CO2 reduction)
- Support and follow up team to deliver >2 individual project per GSR per year. Idea initiated by each GSR
- Work with advance team and drive for better PKG / MFE design in advanced engineering phase
