Senior Fund Accountant

Job Overview

As a Senior Fund Accountant at Carta, you will join a rapidly growing team supporting the future of the Fund Administration business. Carta connects founders, investors, and limited partners through world-class software, purpose-built for everyone in venture capital, private equity, and private credit.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic support to clients, including capital calls, audit/tax support, pre/post close services, quarterly and annual financials, and limited partner communications.
• Help bring transparency to founders, VCs, and LPs by utilizing Carta's tools and resources, such as real-time IRR, real-time portfolio data, and additional data points like TVPI and RVPI.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to continue developing the Venture Capital product suite.
• Implement Carta's Fund Administration software to turn a service industry into a software business.

Requirements

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of Venture Capital, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Fund Administration.
• Experience interpreting Limited Partnership Agreements.
• Ability to communicate information in a timely manner to all relevant stakeholders.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with a supportive team.

Salary Range

The expected cash compensation range for this role is $100,130.00 - $117,800.00 in Seattle, WA.
