Description
Your role will be to cover staff holiday and sickness at required sites throughout Glasgow, covering office cleaning, shopping malls, toilet areas, and communal areas, litter picking, and external work such as brushing and waste removal.
Key responsibilities include sweeping, brushing, and litter collection, dusting, wiping, and disinfecting desks and all surfaces, scrubbing kitchens and toilets, hoovering and mopping floors, disinfecting all high-touch points, and detail work such as skirting boards, sills, and fixtures.
You will also be responsible for following group and company policies and procedures, reporting any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment, and using all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
You must have good attendance, work to routine schedules, be able to proactively find tasks, ability to work on your own and as a team, excellent timekeeping, and good communication skills.
