The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team plays a crucial role at Amazon, ensuring the smooth operation of critical machinery. As an RME Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of machinery and workstations, adhering to health and safety regulations. Your primary goal will be to prevent machine downtime and ensure a safe working environment for colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on a variety of machinery at our sites.
- Conduct emergency repairs and diagnose faults in distribution warehouses.
- Utilise cutting-edge tools to maximise machine efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and practices.
- Support the development and advancement of apprenticeship program participants at our sites.
- Oversee continuous improvement projects and implement key procedures across various European sites.
A Day in the Life: As an RME Technician, you will work on-site, responding promptly to machinery issues. At regular intervals, you will perform preventive maintenance tasks on site machinery to ensure proper functioning. In case of breakdowns, you will investigate causes and implement solutions quickly. Additionally, you will suggest long-term improvements to prevent future issues.
The RME team ensures the optimal functioning of our machinery, comprising individuals with strong teamwork spirit and expert guidance. The team focuses on maintenance, problem-solving, and machine repair within our global network of logistics centres.
The national collective bargaining agreement applicable to this role is Logistics and Transport. The position is classified at level 3.
The gross salary for this position is indicated below, corresponding to a full-time employment. For part-time employment, the salary will be adjusted proportionally.
Verona - 38,900€ gross per year.
