Description
dbt Labs is seeking a Japan Sales Director to manage its customer base in Japan. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and curious member of the Sales team, identifying new business opportunities and growth prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Build, manage and close your own pipeline of companies that will benefit from the dbt Cloud offering
- Manage and deepen the dbt Cloud footprint in existing accounts
- Engage with technology partners and ecosystem service providers
- Lead and contribute to team projects that develop the sales process
- Work with product to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap
- Focus on building and managing pipeline generation
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in technology sales with a proven track record of exceeding annual targets
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and develop them into a consultative sale
- Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills
- Diligence and organisational skills to work long, intricate sales cycles
- Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment
- Passion for being an inclusive teammate and involved member of the community
- Experience with SQL or willingness to learn

Compensation: The typical starting salary range for this role is ¥22,000,000-¥28,000,000 JPY.
