Staff Team Member Relations Partner

GitLab is seeking a Staff Team Member Relations Partner to provide strategic guidance on complex team member relations matters across its global organization.

As a Staff Team Member Relations Partner, you’ll lead sensitive investigations, coach leaders through confidential workplace matters, and partner with Legal and People Business Partners to develop scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead sensitive investigations from intake through resolution
• Coach and advise leaders at all levels on complex team member relations matters
• Build proactive programs to prevent workplace concerns
• Partner with Legal and People Business Partners to review and assess team member relations cases
• Shape the development and revision of policies
• Analyze case trends and provide actionable insights
• Lead department-specific and organization-wide initiatives

Requirements:

• Progressive team member or employee relations experience
• Working knowledge of United States employment law
• Experience working in a distributed, multi-jurisdiction, or global organization
• A track record of influencing change without direct authority
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Sound judgment, confidentiality, discretion, and empathy
