Astranis builds advanced satellites for high orbits, expanding humanity's reach into the solar system.
As a Reliability Design Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, performing reliability analyses on satellite systems, working with the reliability design team, supporting DFMEA efforts, and writing code to evaluate performance and automate testing of satellite hardware.
Responsibilities:
- Perform reliability analyses on satellite systems
- Work with the reliability design team to analyze flight hardware
- Support DFMEA efforts
- Write code to help evaluate performance and automate testing of satellite hardware
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a B.S. in electrical or computer engineering (or equivalent technical degree)
- Interest in learning about, designing, and working with power electronics systems
- A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development
- Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch
Bonus skills:
- Experience with agentic AI systems
- Experience with SPICE-based simulators (LTSpice, PSPICE, ADS, etc)
- Familiarity with standard EE lab bench (power supply, oscilloscope, multimeter, etc)
- Experience with Python
The base pay for this position is $29.00 per hour.
