Summary
Microsoft AI are looking for a talented Member of Technical Staff, AI Post-Training at their Zürich office. This role sits at the heart of post-training large language models, turning market data into actionable insights for a company that's revolutionising conversational AI technology. You'll work directly with the AI Post-Training team to shape the company's direction in the development of post-training algorithms and models.
About the Role
We are looking for outstanding individuals excited about contributing to the next generation of models that will transform the field. As a Member of Technical Staff, AI Post-Training, you will be responsible for developing data collection, evaluation, and finetuning methods for models. You will design hypotheses and experiment plans for rapidly iterating on model performance. You will prototype new model features and capabilities and collaborate with engineers and researchers across Microsoft AI to make them a reality. You will collaborate with pretraining and product platform teams to establish good vertical integration and ship models that Copilot users love.
Accountabilities

The Candidate we're looking for
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Technical skills:
- Expertise in post-training of AI models.
Personal attributes:
- Passionate about conversational AI and its deployment.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
