Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Manufacturing team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating a safety culture and applying and implementing workplace policies. You will lead and coach skilled trades and maintenance personnel in all aspects of asset management, including asset availability, cycle time, preventative maintenance, predictive and condition-based monitoring technologies. You will also lead and coach teams in leveraging new and existing machine monitoring tools to identify constraints in the system and systematically reduce and eliminate interruptions in production flow.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating a safety culture and applying and implementing workplace policies
  • Leading and coaching skilled trades and maintenance personnel in all aspects of asset management
  • Leading and coaching teams in leveraging new and existing machine monitoring tools to identify constraints in the system and systematically reduce and eliminate interruptions in production flow
  • Building strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams
  • Communicating effectively with hourly team members, leaders, business partners, and customers
  • Administering the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively
  • Evaluating team member performance and encouraging continuous improvement

Requirements include:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of supervisory and/or manufacturing experience
  • 1+ years of experience working on different types of equipment and maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
  • Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls
  • Mechanical aptitude

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Safety and quality experience
  • Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified
  • Maximo experience
  • Knowledge of constraint management principles
  • Prior experience managing a unionized workforce

This position offers a salary range of $84,480-$141,360 and includes immediate medical, dental, and prescription drug coverage, flexible family care, parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up child care, and more.
