Description

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring precise and reliable measurement and testing processes within the development departments. In the field of calibration technology, we ensure that measuring instruments are correctly monitored and calibrated – a crucial foundation for quality. Furthermore, we continuously drive the automation and control of calibration and testing processes forward to increase efficiency and process safety.

As a trainee, you will gain comprehensive insights into measurement instrument management and calibration processes. You will support the planning, execution, and evaluation of calibrations and learn how to handle modern measuring and testing instruments as well as automated testing systems. Additionally, you will work on the development of control workflows and the optimization of testing processes.

You will work closely with various departments and experience how precise measurement technology and intelligent automation are essential for product development. In doing so, you will develop an understanding of quality assurance from a holistic perspective and see which technologies and processes will gain importance in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the setup and commissioning of calibration stations in the pressure area
  • Participate in the determination and evaluation of measurement uncertainties in pressure measurement technology
  • Gain insights into and participate in topics related to Digital Calibration Request (DCR) and Digital Calibration Certificate (DCC)
  • Support the digitization and automation of calibration and testing processes

Requirements:

  • Study of Mechatronics, Optoelectronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Vehicle Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable course of study
  • Familiarity with MS Office
  • Independent, analytical, and structured way of working
  • High team and communication skills
