We are seeking a visionary Lead Customer Trainer to develop, lead, and scale our customer-facing instructional cadre. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive training team strategy that ensures our diverse customer base achieves operational excellence and maximises the value of Anduril's advanced hardware and software offerings.
This role requires deep experience training technical subjects, preferably to US Government entities, as well as engineering expertise. You will also serve as a key bridge between instructional designers, product and engineering, and the instructors, focusing on constant improvement of training content and delivery to drive customer adoption.
Strategic Leadership & Team Management: Develop and grow technical training teams for customers supporting Anduril's product roadmap, business objectives, and customer success goals. Establish clear performance metrics, development pathways, and operational standards for the customer training teams. Foster a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement within the training teams, establishing feedback mechanisms and metrics to funnel student suggestions into the product stream.
Program Development & Delivery Oversight: Collaborate on the design and development of engaging learner-centered technical training programs for a wide range of Anduril products and systems. Ensure training collateral and instruction remain current, accurate, and aligned with new features and functionalities across all product lines.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Customer Advocacy: Act as a key strategic partner to Product Management, Engineering, Design, Operations, and Business Development teams to capture product updates, inform training needs, and champion the voice of the customer. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, understanding their operational contexts, identifying pain points, and influencing product and training roadmaps.
Operational Excellence & Compliance: Establish and optimise standardised processes, tools, and techniques for training deliveries across all customer training teams. Implement robust audit-ready processes for training team documentation, compliance reporting, and data collection.
Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in with the US military or Intelligence Community (IC) enabling an understanding of their unique operational training requirements. Experience in a high-tech customer-facing technical training role within the defence, aerospace, or high-tech industry, with a significant portion (5+ years) in a leadership or management capacity. Proven experience building, leading, and scaling high-performing technical training teams, preferably in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or equivalent experience in a related field. Prior military or government agency experience. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FAA or DCMA, and experience in audit readiness for training programs.
Salary Range: $146,000-$194,000 USD
