Description
A Forward Deployed Reliability Engineer ensures the stability and reliability of mission-critical workflows built on Palantir software. They gather signal by going on call, resolving problems before the customer is impacted, and use those learnings to drive product change, shape internal tooling, and refine operational processes.
Key responsibilities include developing a deep understanding of Palantir's products and operational processes, going on-call to respond to mission-critical incidents, diagnosing and resolving issues, collaborating with internal stakeholders to increase scalability and reliability, identifying pain points and inefficiencies, and advocating for product enhancements.
The ideal candidate has excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL, familiarity with parallel data processing and Spark job optimisation, strong organisational skills, resourcefulness, and creativity in fast-paced environments.
