Description
The Production Team Leader will lead and manage the daily activities of the composites team to ensure safety, quality, cost, and throughput goals are met.
Key responsibilities include:
Training and certifying team members on production processes and company policies. Ensuring safety, quality, and production standards are met. Coordinating manpower to optimize production flow. Acting as a backup to the production supervisor when needed. Collaborating with the team to identify areas for improvement in the production process. Implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain production targets.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and training abilities, and understanding of safety regulations, quality control, and production processes.
Physical demands include the ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, frequently and repetitively lifting, pushing, and carrying up to 20 lbs, and standing and walking for up to 12 hours/day.
