Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Technical Writer to join our Solutions Group in Bengaluru. As a Senior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for developing, writing, and updating user documentation for industry-leading Digital and Mixed Signal IPs. This includes technical specifications, engineering schematics, application notes, and user guides for USB, PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, HDMI, and MIPI.
Your primary focus will be on collaborating closely with design engineering teams to gather technical content and transform it into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation. You will also plan, organize, and manage documentation projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to established style guides and documentation processes.
In addition to your technical writing skills, you will need to be able to adopt and champion best practices in technical writing, including content structuring, version control, and continuous improvement of documentation workflows. You will also contribute to the documentation roadmap and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and close documentation gaps.
As a Senior Technical Writer, you will have the opportunity to empower customers to effectively utilize Synopsys IP products by providing clear, comprehensive, and accessible documentation. You will accelerate product adoption and integration by reducing barriers to understanding complex technologies, enhance the overall user experience and customer satisfaction through high-quality, reliable documentation, and support the success of engineering, product, and support teams by delivering timely, accurate collateral.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics, science, hardware, computing, software, physics, mathematics, engineering, or a closely related technical discipline. You will also need to have 3-7 years of demonstrated technical writing experience in the software or hardware industry, proficiency in authoring tools such as FrameMaker (Structured or Unstructured), exceptional English writing and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, logical reasoning, and solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to quickly learn and assimilate new technologies, tools, and processes.
