We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
As a Consultant Specialist, you will provide IT project delivery and assist project managers on project planning, stakeholder communication, development, testing, release, and so on. You will also lead or assist teammates to provide business and technical solutions that fit business needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing IT project delivery and assisting project managers on project planning, stakeholder communication, development, testing, release, and so on.
- Leading or assisting teammates to provide business and technical solutions that fit business needs.
- Identifying and developing the most appropriate technology solutions to meet customer needs as part of the Customer Journey.
- Liaising with other teams, including architects, business stakeholders, and so on, to understand and drive the product or service's direction.
- Conducting end-to-end system tests, user acceptance tests, and providing support on system implementation.
- Ensuring a high-quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices.
- Preparing project-related documentation and providing support on compliance and audit checking.
Requirements include:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of rich hands-on experience in development.
- Experience of delivering high-quality and complex system solutions.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Proven hands-on experience with React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong understanding of front-end build tools and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices for front-end testing.
- Solid experience in CI/CD tools, such as GitHub, Maven, Groovy, Nexus, Jenkins.
- Knowledge and experience with Distributed systems, Micro-service architecture, and APIs.
- Knowledge and experience with relational database.
- Knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and toolings, etc).
- Able to work in Agile working model.
- Strong passion for technology and engineering.
