Description

Critical to this role is the ability to turn insights into action. You will work with the Trade Marketing Manager to develop and coordinate trade marketing & insights activities to maximise the potential of the Red Bull brand in the trade while maintaining the brand personality & values.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Developing trade marketing strategies utilising trade and marketing experience to recommend best trade-led activities.

Providing analytical backing for trade activity proposals that push the brand guidelines while protecting the brand image.

Managing the discount budget of the company efficiently to maximise output.

Setting clear priorities for the business in the form of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that can be tracked, measured and turned into insights.

Combining different sources of information and presenting the most important business developments to sales management, proposing routes of action that focus on the right business priorities.

Tracking results by pulling information from different data sources, analysing the data and deriving insights from it.

Ensuring insights are understood and clear points of action are determined to address opportunities and issues.

Publishing regular reports such as daily sales, discount mix dashboard, SKU penetration dashboard, and Monthly NAB Bulletin.

Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and developing global products, depletions, and CPM, as well as the Sales Automation Tool: Panorama.

You will need to have 0-2 years of experience in the FMCG sector, ideally in Business Insights Management, Category Management, Trade Marketing, or Sales.

You will also require motivation, team skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit, as well as a clear understanding of markets, sales & distribution, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour in an FMCG context.

Strong analytical ability and commercial acumen to understand financial statements and market trends are essential, along with strategic thinking to lead the sales strategy.

Fluency in written and spoken English is required, as is very strong MS Office skills.

Knowledge of analysing software such as Python, Power BI, and Tableau is a plus, as is the ability to work in a self-guided manner.
