Description

As a practicum student in the high-voltage battery systems department, you will be involved in the development of battery management systems and overall vehicle construction. Your tasks will include assisting in concept development, construction, and series implementation of battery systems, as well as conducting thermal simulations of battery cells and analysing measurement data.

You will also be responsible for supporting the development of new battery technologies and contributing to the creation of documentation and reports. Additionally, you will assist in the disassembly of high-voltage batteries and participate in research activities related to new battery developments.

The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in mechatronics, electrical engineering, vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field of study. You should also have experience with rapid prototyping and software development tools such as Python and MATLAB/Simulink.

As a member of our international team, you will be expected to communicate effectively in both English and German. A valid driver's license and experience in Formula Student are considered advantageous.

We offer a 6-month practicum position starting in September 2026, with a working time of 35 hours per week. A valid residence permit with work permit is required.
