Technical / Product Publications, Engineer

You will be part of a technical publications team at Synopsys, creating documentation and training materials for complex tools and methodologies used in Virtual Prototyping.

Your tasks will include:

• Developing documentation and training materials for Virtual Prototyping tools
• Creating GUI-based procedures and lab exercises on real-time use cases
• Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and design teams to gather inputs and review feedback
• Working on Windows and Linux platforms, and being able to use complex tools
• Delivering high-quality documentation on strict timelines
• Maintaining documentation to ensure it stays in sync with the latest tool versions
• Being a team player and contributing to meeting team assignments
• Adhering to the Synopsys Style Guide in documentation

Requirements include:

• A B.Tech, B.Sc, or MCA in Computer Science with basic programming knowledge and entry-level experience in technical documentation
• Strong written English skills with attention to grammar, structure, and clarity
• Experience authoring in DITA XML and working with XML code
• Familiarity with software development life cycles and document development life cycles
• Ability to learn new tools and technical domains quickly
• Experience with Oxygen Author or similar structured authoring tools is a plus
• Background in EDA, semiconductor, or technical software documentation is a plus

You will be working with a team that collaborates across geographies to document complex semiconductor design tools and methodologies.
