Description
You will be part of a technical publications team at Synopsys, creating documentation and training materials for complex tools and methodologies used in Virtual Prototyping.
Your tasks will include:
- Developing documentation and training materials for Virtual Prototyping tools
- Creating GUI-based procedures and lab exercises on real-time use cases
- Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and design teams to gather inputs and review feedback
- Working on Windows and Linux platforms, and being able to use complex tools
- Delivering high-quality documentation on strict timelines
- Maintaining documentation to ensure it stays in sync with the latest tool versions
- Being a team player and contributing to meeting team assignments
- Adhering to the Synopsys Style Guide in documentation

- Enabling engineers to find answers faster with clear and structured documentation
- Reducing support escalations and improving customer experience with accurate documentation
- Helping design teams spend less time answering repetitive questions

Requirements include:
- A B.Tech, B.Sc, or MCA in Computer Science with basic programming knowledge and entry-level experience in technical documentation
- Strong written English skills with attention to grammar, structure, and clarity
- Experience authoring in DITA XML and working with XML code
- Familiarity with software development life cycles and document development life cycles
- Ability to learn new tools and technical domains quickly
- Experience with Oxygen Author or similar structured authoring tools is a plus
- Background in EDA, semiconductor, or technical software documentation is a plus
You will be working with a team that collaborates across geographies to document complex semiconductor design tools and methodologies.
