Customer Support Engineer

As Customer Support Engineer - Motorsport, you will play a pivotal role in providing market leading motorsport engineering services to McLaren's global customer base.

This role involves working closely with internal and customer engineers, supporting them with engineering tools, data processing, and technical updates.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting GT3/GT4 project engineering and development teams in simulation and data analysis
• Providing remote or track-side data analysis and systems-wide commissioning ECU programming and BOP implementation
• Supporting customer teams with specific on-event vehicle/systems engineering, technical and operational procedures
• Liaising with internal Development engineering team and providing feedback on technical issues and concerns
• Documenting engineering reports from live events and feeding information into the wider customer support and engineering departments
• Providing workshop-based remote diagnostic and advisory sessions for customer teams
• Offering technical support to McLaren motorsport customers, which may involve travel within and outside the UK

The role requires extensive global travel within the region of 16 - 22 events.
