Member of Technical Staff

Job Overview

We are looking for a Member of Technical Staff to join our team at xAI. You will introduce innovative techniques and analyses to the AI field, focusing on breakthroughs in quantitative reasoning and language understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cutting-edge AI techniques, including neural network architectures, language modeling, and speech recognition
• Stabilize large language model training, pipeline parallelism training, and fine-tuning with truthful data
• Collaborate with leaders to deliver impactful projects in machine learning, applied data science, recommendation systems, and information retrieval systems
• Work on hands-on technical problems, including design and implementation
• Perform research on advanced AI and deep learning techniques

Requirements

• Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field
• 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation
• Experience with big data systems such as Spark, Hadoop, BigQuery, and related technologies
• Knowledge of building large-scale Kubernetes clusters for data storage, processing, and analysis
• Applied machine learning techniques and deployment of large-scale deep learning systems
• Proficiency in Rust, C++, or Python programming languages
• Experience with building applications with hardware accelerators such as GPUs, TPUs
