Construction Superintendent (Night Shift) – Mechanical

You will oversee mechanical contractors and crews building advanced mechanical infrastructure for xAI's Memphis Data Center.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate mechanical installations during night shift hours
• Manage and schedule mechanical contractors, subcontractors, and on-site crews
• Ensure contractors adhere to mechanical scope and quality standards
• Monitor daily night-shift progress and maintain detailed logs
• Develop and enforce construction schedules
• Champion and enforce xAI's safety program
• Lead, train, and supervise foremen and mechanical crews
• Resolve on-site challenges and coordinate with electrical/civil trades
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare progress reports

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years managing mechanical construction teams
• 3+ years of direct hands-on experience in mechanical installations
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Postsecondary diploma or degree in construction management or related field
• Experience with construction management software
• Knowledge of mechanical construction critical paths and sequencing
• Strong understanding of data center mechanical specifications
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse crews and build strong safety cultures
