Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with deep expertise in insurance finance, regulatory compliance, and accounting standards. This role will support strategic initiatives including M&A due diligence, IFRS 17 implementation, risk management, and financial reporting across multiple insurance lines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the insurance industry, particularly the nuances of regulatory requirements, and should possess excellent analytical abilities to interpret complex data.
Key responsibilities include leading financial due diligence for insurance acquisitions and strategic partnerships, overseeing implementation and compliance with IFRS 17 and related standards for statutory reporting, developing and refining Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks aligned with regulatory bodies such as Solvency II, and supervising budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across Life, Non-Life, and Reinsurance lines.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in financial due diligence, audits, IFRS compliance, and controlling within the insurance sector, strong understanding of Solvency II, capital adequacy, and risk modeling, hands-on experience with BigQuery or similar data platforms, and proficiency in dashboard creation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to generate actionable insights.
