Description

We are seeking a Karting Manager to oversee the development and management of our karting activities, including sport and leisure events.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Karting Sport Development and Management:

  • Developing and promoting the Karting Sport activity to ensure growth and economic performance
  • Maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including ASK, promoters, and regulatory bodies
  • Planning and managing track exploitation, taking into account major events
  • Coordinating support services, such as IT, technical services, and security
  • Organising and mobilising human, material, and logistical resources
  • Implementing actions to retain and engage volunteers
  • Managing administrative and financial aspects, including invoicing and regulatory compliance
  • Analysing event profitability and proposing optimisation actions

Karting Leisure Development and Management:

  • Developing the Karting Leisure activity and implementing commercial strategies
  • Identifying new market opportunities and deploying development plans
  • Organising and optimising leisure track exploitation
  • Coordinating material, logistical, and human resources
  • Managing administrative and financial aspects, including invoicing and contract management
  • Evaluating event profitability and proposing improvements
  • Overseeing event organisation and coordination

Cross-Functional Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring budget adherence and alerting management to any discrepancies
  • Conducting regulatory monitoring to anticipate changes impacting the activity
  • Preparing and following up on homologation files and infrastructure adaptation works
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of karting activities

Requirements:

  • Higher education qualification (Bac +3 to Bac +5) in sports management or equivalent
  • Significant experience in managing sports, events, or leisure activities
  • Good knowledge of the automotive competition environment, including regulations and homologation procedures
  • Experience in team management, with ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Budget management and performance indicator analysis skills
  • Strong commercial skills, with ability to develop activity and identify new opportunities
  • Marketing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with adaptability and conflict management abilities
  • Professional English language proficiency
  • Availability to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
