Head of Machine Learning, India

EarnIn is seeking a Head of Machine Learning, India to lead the development and deployment of machine learning systems in India.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience deploying ML at scale, with a strong emphasis on translating research into robust production systems.

Responsibilities:

• Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of machine learning engineers
• Own the delivery and impact of ML initiatives, working closely with cross-functional partners
• Lead the design, development, and optimization of ML-based systems
• Drive a culture of scientific and engineering rigor, with a focus on experimentation and evaluation
• Partner with data engineering, product management, and marketing teams to deploy ML solutions
• Establish India as a strategic ML hub for EarnIn

Requirements:

• MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• 7+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years of people management experience
• Strong depth in core machine learning algorithms and applied ML techniques
• Proven experience building, deploying, and operating production ML systems at scale
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
