Description

The Coordinator of Audio Production will be responsible for coordinating multiple audio projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and profitability. The role involves managing projects from start to finish, collaborating with various teams, and implementing best practices to ensure high-quality productions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating projects, tasks, and responsibilities within the global production team and assigning them to relevant recording studios
  • Following and planning all ongoing audio projects with the help of planning coordinators, artistic directors, and voice-over synthesis editing teams
  • Supporting the Studio Recording Manager and the global production team in executing audio projects
  • Implementing procedures to increase productivity and efficiency across assigned sites, in line with global strategy and objectives
  • Managing holiday and replacement schedules, sharing availability with production coordinators from other studios
  • Ensuring studio reception in the absence of the Receptionist: managing physical and telephone reception of visitors, and tracking contract signatures
  • Supporting the Planning Coordinator in communicating with actors and artistic directors as needed
  • Following specific KPIs and driving the localization cycle of assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards
  • Implementing global practices and workflows, analyzing data to prevent delays or issues
  • Liaising with clients and the global production team for ongoing projects
  • Negotiating with external suppliers, artistic directors, and actors in accordance with Globalize requirements, supporting the Studio Recording Manager
  • Collaborating with the Studio Workflow Optimization Manager to document processes, maintain up-to-date documentation, and proactively suggest workflow improvements
  • Following and optimizing the efficiency of available tools and resolving technical issues affecting results
  • Coordinating efforts from all project stakeholders (planning coordinators, artistic directors, sound engineers, technical audio managers, project managers from various studios, voice-over synthesis editors, pre/post-production teams, TTS/STS teams, and QA teams) to ensure smooth production
  • Providing initial audio cost estimates to the global production team and tracking expenses, ensuring budget compliance and alerting the team to discrepancies
  • Proactively seeking ways to improve profitability and sharing ideas with other production coordinators from recording studios
  • Recording external supplier services in the internal production system, in collaboration with the planning coordinator
  • Communicating regularly and professionally with the global production team to understand objectives and expectations, anticipating and responding to client needs to prevent risks
  • Ensuring constant communication with other production coordinators and the audio team to foster good working relationships
  • Ensuring that internal and external communications are handled quickly and professionally
  • Supporting key stakeholders during client-facing activities as needed
  • Collaborating on developing and integrating new workflows and tools to optimize team efficiency

Requirements:

  • More than 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in localization
  • Experience in audio localization is a significant advantage
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Perfect mastery of English (spoken and written); knowledge of a second language is a plus
  • Good command of French
  • Mastery of production tools
  • Good knowledge of the gaming industry
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Ability to self-organize and manage priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously (polyvalence)
  • Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing needs
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Motivation, teamwork spirit, and willingness to learn and apply the company's specific methodologies
  • Availability for professional travel
