Description
Synopsys software engineers are key enablers in the world of Electronic Design Automation (EDA), developing and maintaining software used in chip design, verification and manufacturing.
As a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer, you will focus on automation and process improvements, enhance virtualization and containerization infrastructure, troubleshoot operating system and engineering issues within the Linux environment, collaborate on internal projects across various time zones and teams, and coordinate with customers.
The impact you will have includes improving the reliability and performance of the engineering environment, focusing on scaling and managing the engineering environment more effectively, streamlining processes to enhance scalability and efficiency, addressing complex operating system and engineering challenges, and ensuring successful project outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be proficient in Linux operating systems, have experience with automation platforms such as Ansible, Tower, or AWX, and have knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies.
