At Bayer, we're seeking an Area Vice President - West to lead our transformation in the US Pharmaceuticals division. As a visionary leader, you will guide cross-functional Cardiorenal, Stroke, and Women's Healthcare field teams in transitioning to our new Area Business Unit structure and operating model. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing novel sales force and go-to-market approaches, partnering with Area General Managers to design and execute solutions that achieve sales and profitability targets, and analyzing market trends to uncover non-traditional opportunities to enhance customer engagement and service.
As a key member of the Customer Engagement leadership team, you will work closely with AVP peers and senior leaders to drive execution of Bayer's commercial strategies, represent and elevate customer opportunities, and identify, develop, and execute new go-to-market approaches that improve Bayer's profitability.
The ideal candidate will possess transformational leadership experience, a proven track record of leading and transforming change in complex organizations, and a thorough understanding of health systems, customer segments, regional market dynamics, and key opinion leader development across multiple therapeutic areas.
Additional responsibilities include coaching and developing Area General Managers, optimizing and reallocating resources across Area Business Units and portfolios, and acting as an inspirational executive who attracts, motivates, and develops diverse, inclusive, high-performing teams.
