Description

The Account Representative serves as the primary contact between Simulation & Analysis (S&A) and customers in an assigned territory or set of named accounts or product/service line.

The role is responsible for maintaining existing customer accounts while also working to create new ones. A successful Account Representative maximises sales profitability, growth, and account penetration.

Key duties and responsibilities include performing sales activities, establishing and developing business relationships with current and/or prospective customers, and creating and maintaining account plans for existing customers.

The Account Representative will also research sources for developing prospective customers or expanding to new groups in existing customers, develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers, and coordinate sales efforts with marketing, account team, sales management, accounting, legal, technical services groups, and Channel Partners.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, business or related field, with 1+ years of experience, and demonstrated understanding of engineering analysis and technology.

Travel is expected to be up to 50%.

Fluency in English and the local language of the territory is preferred, as is demonstrated knowledge of the company's products/services and pricing practices.
