Description
You'll be a Strategic Account Executive selling Cursor to health verticals: life sciences, biotech, chemicals, and research-heavy enterprises. Your role will be to help platform and engineering leaders move faster while respecting validated environments, documentation needs, and strong governance expectations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building and executing account plans across pharma/biotech/CROs/chemicals and adjacent platforms
- Prospecting into R&D engineering, platform teams, security, and IT leadership
- Running discovery that connects developer productivity to R&D velocity, quality, and compliance
- Leading POVs in real codebases; partnering with Solutions Engineering on deployment constraints
- Navigating procurement, security reviews, and enterprise contracting
- Closing and expanding: pilot → standardization → broader rollouts across teams/sites
- Codifying repeatable motions for this vertical (playbooks, messaging, reference architectures)
As a successful candidate, you'll have 7+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a strong background in life sciences/biotech/regulated R&D. You'll be able to sell to technical buyers and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders. You'll also have strong pipeline generation habits and disciplined forecasting.
