Senior Customer Application Engineer (Simulations)
Job Summary
You are a seasoned engineering professional with a passion for solving complex problems and enabling customer success. With a strong background in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, you possess deep expertise in simulation software, specifically Synopsys products such as Maxwell, Q3D, and Simplorer.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead and coordinate technical activities throughout the sales process, including customer meetings, product presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations.
- Independently analyze customer technical needs, requirements, and current engineering workflows to recommend optimal solutions.
- Design and demonstrate simulation solutions using Synopsys software to streamline customer workflows and support complex sales cycles.
- Participate in internal initiatives to enhance solution suites, enable presales/sales processes, and contribute to professional development within the team.
- Articulate the value proposition of Synopsys products, differentiating our solutions and leaving a strong impression on senior executives and key stakeholders.
- Deliver intermediate and advanced training classes on the usage of Synopsys products to empower customers and internal teams.
- Create elegant, practical solutions for complex engineering problems by collaborating across teams and understanding customer needs.
- Support various duties as assigned, maintaining flexibility and responsiveness to evolving business requirements.

What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (MS or PhD preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering software environment (6+ years preferred).
- Proven expertise in Synopsys products (Maxwell, Q3D, Simplorer) or similar CAE/CAD/EDA software packages.
- Ability to facilitate webinars, presentations, and training sessions for customers and internal teams.
- Strong analytical skills to assess customer infrastructure, operations, and engineering workflows.
