Description
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Manager on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you will lead our Manufacturing warehouse operations across ANZ, ensuring a seamless flow of both raw materials and finished goods.
You'll be responsible for driving operational excellence, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring strong compliance across safety, quality, and logistics. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where strong leadership, organisation, and commercial awareness are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations to meet retail, digital, and production deadlines
- Coach and develop team members, fostering a positive and accountable culture
- Plan labour requirements and manage wage costs in line with budget
- Coordinate with freight providers to ensure cost-effective and timely import/export logistics
- Oversee accurate receipt, storage, rotation, and system entry of all stock into ERP/MRP systems
- Ensure efficient picking, packing, and dispatch of orders to ANZ stores
- Lead stocktakes and implement controls to minimise loss, damage, and wastage
- Manage recruitment, onboarding and continuous learning and development opportunities
- Drive team performance through regular feedback and training, and proactive management of employee relations matters
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain product quality standards
- Maintain accurate documentation, SOPs, FIFO processes, and Dangerous Goods compliance
- Be engaged in strategic, longer-term Manufacturing projects as they arise in driving the overall objectives and goals of the business
- Promote a strong health, safety, and wellbeing culture, ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and equipment standards
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution, ideally within food, FMCG, or cosmetics industries
- Current Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Certified in Air and Sea Dangerous Goods (DG) handling (or willingness to obtain), with a strong understanding of relevant regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
- Proven experience working with ERP/MRP systems
- Proven experience in people management and team development, including recruitment, induction, performance management, conflict resolution, and handling difficult conversations
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with different levels of staff and management
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines in a timely manner
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
