Description
We're looking for a passionate and knowledgeable music professional to join our Editorial team in Dubai. As an Editorial Team Member, you'll help define Spotify's editorial strategy for Türkiye, bringing together deep cultural knowledge and data-informed programming to create playlists and experiences that feel timely, relevant, and distinctly local.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Curating and maintaining Spotify editorial playlists, including hits, genre-specific, and mood/activity playlists
- Developing and co-creating editorial strategies for Türkiye
- Analyzing platform data to refine and improve playlist programming and overall editorial performance
- Staying deeply connected to the Turkish music landscape, identifying new talent and emerging trends
- Translating music and cultural knowledge into engaging, relevant content for Spotify users
You'll be a key player in developing our editorial strategy for Türkiye, working closely with internal teams to ensure editorial decisions align with broader business and creative objectives.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a deep understanding of the Turkish music ecosystem, from mainstream to underground movements, and an instinctive sense of what music fits different moments, moods, and cultural contexts. You'll also need to be able to communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders, and be comfortable leveraging data to inform decision-making.
