Description
As a Senior Community Developer, you will lead the creation of global community engagement strategies to support player retention inside and outside of Ubisoft's games.
You will establish and grow global communities around Ubisoft's games, focusing on player communications, game improvements, and feedback cycles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing community strategic plans to support production objectives and marketing strategies
- Coordinating communication, activities, and initiatives with multiple global departments
- Leveraging Community Managers and transversal teams to create meaningful content for players
- Acting as a spokesperson for the assigned brand(s) and coordinating community-centric events
- Collaborating with the Social Media Manager to define and report on content KPIs
- Supporting internal and external milestones, such as betas and launches
- Acting as a primary representative for players' needs within Production and Publishing teams
- Shaping player feedback cycles and providing insights to influence game experiences
- Collaborating and coordinating with live teams for post-launch communication
- Managing and producing internal reports on community feedback, activity, and expectations
- Serving as a subject matter expert for the project and the wider global Community team
- Operating with an ROI-centric mindset and making calculated decisions
- Leading the way in defining best practices to drive impact and sharing them with the wider Community team
Requirements:
- Extensive experience managing online communities and leading strategic plans or programs with demonstrable success
- Extensive experience in the gaming industry with multiple gaming platforms, genres, and AAA game launches
- Extensive knowledge of social media platforms
- Experience working in a demanding Production environment with multiple deadlines, objectives, and stakeholders
- Strong understanding of building and maintaining video game communities and developing strategic player engagement plans
- Proven track record of working with various stakeholders to filter and implement player feedback
- Fluency in French
