We are looking for a Procurement Sourcing Specialist to work with others to competitively bid outsourced parts amongst suppliers to realize the best value to the company for providing components of Powersports vehicle production.
The successful candidate will represent Honda with minimal supervision in interactions with suppliers to request, review, negotiate, and approve quotations that contribute to setting the production costs of global ATV & SxS new models and mass production vehicles.
Key responsibilities include delivering results that consistently meet defined cost targets, preparing cost analyses and effectively negotiating with suppliers/designers, executing supplier/part/commodity tactics under the direction of Cost Technical Experts, proposing maker layout selections, and contributing to spec maturation with designer engineers.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 0+ years of related work experience, and strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. They will also be able to operate with a high level of confidentiality, have general knowledge of cost, budget, and/or financial information management, and possess strong analytical skills.
This is a full-time position that requires occasional travel, overtime, and maintaining professional conduct and following all departmental, safety department, and company policies, procedures, and rules.
