Application Engineering Staff Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Application Engineering Staff Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving global customer adoption of Synopsys Implementation products by providing expert guidance on RTL-to-GDS flows.

What you'll do

• Delivering comprehensive technical support and solutions for premium customer projects, including hands-on debugging and on-site expert visits when required.
• Participating in technical campaigns such as benchmarks, deployments, and flow enablement to improve usability and adoption of new solutions.
• Advocating for customers by communicating their needs and feedback to product development teams, influencing product roadmaps and future technologies.

What you need

• B-Tech or equivalent with a minimum of 6+ years of experience, or M-Tech or equivalent with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in physical implementation.
• Deep expertise in implementation methodologies, physical design, and Synopsys tools such as Fusion Compiler or ICC-II (or equivalent).
• Thorough understanding of RTL-to-GDS flows, methodologies, and challenges.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Tcl, Perl, and Unix; knowledge of Python is a strong advantage.
