Description
In this role, you will build deep relationships with the founders and CEOs of new and scaling Life Sciences & Healthcare companies. You will leverage HSBC's Innovation Banking platform to help these companies grow. Your responsibilities will include delivering the breadth and depth of the HSBC Innovation Banking Platform, generating new business for HSBC Innovation Banking, and developing the HSBC Innovation Banking brand.
You will work closely with teams across all of HSBC, particularly our colleagues in Innovation Lending, Relationship Advisors, Product Advisors, and internal operations to provide a streamlined banking experience for the client. You will also provide insight into the HSBC Innovation Banking platform on key industry and company trends to ensure HSBC Innovation Banking is developing its business to meet the needs of the innovative ecosystem.
As a successful candidate, you will have extensive technology ecosystem experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong relationship management skills. You will also have a preference for candidates with experience working in the venture capital and start-up ecosystem. A strong finance, analysis, and commercial lending experience, including the ability to understand and negotiate credit terms, is essential. Excellent all-round knowledge of banking products, including Treasury, Clearing, and Trade Finance Solutions, is also required.
