Description
We're seeking a Data Center Security Specialist to join our team. As a Data Center Security Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and enforcing physical security standards and policies in our data center spaces. You will manage facility access policies, conduct audits, and be the administrator for access requests and revocations. You will also be a liaison between CoreWeave and our collocation partners, advocating for the highest level of security to protect our personnel, infrastructure, and intellectual property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce physical security standards and policies in our data center spaces
- Manage facility access policies, conduct audits, and administer access requests and revocations
- Liaise between CoreWeave and our collocation partners to ensure the highest level of security
- Create and implement training programs for CoreWeave employees, visitors, and contractors
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years in a physical security field
- High school diploma or GED
- Degree in computer science, criminal justice, or a related field is preferable
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency using office tools such as MAC/Windows/Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electronic Physical Security Certifications, such as Genetec, Axis
- Professional certification (e.g. PSP, CPP, CPTED, etc.)
- IT and computer networking experience
- Prior experience as a people manager and team leader
- Physical Security design experience
- Project management experience
