What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Guiding complex services engagements to successful outcomes, leveraging your project management expertise, negotiation skills, and industry knowledge.
  • Facilitating the definition of project scope, goals, requirements, and deliverables in close collaboration with customers and internal teams.
  • Defining project tasks, resource requirements, and coordinating the development and execution of project and program-level initiatives.
  • Establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to multiple customers by understanding their business initiatives, product design needs, and engineering workflows.
  • Managing and tracking project resource allocations, timelines, and deliverables across multiple interconnected workstreams for optimal results.
  • Identifying and managing project risks, escalating issues as necessary, and providing guidance and oversight on advanced technical solution planning.
  • Collaborating with customers to deploy and integrate the latest Synopsys engineering simulation tools, including the legacy-Ansys suite, within their design and development processes.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert on simulation workflows, guiding customers in utilizing advanced Ansys-based simulation capabilities to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Mentoring junior project managers and contributing to the development of PMO standards and processes.
  • Organizing and managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously while ensuring effective communication and collaboration with all stakeholders.

What You’ll Need:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years (BS), 3 years (MS), or 2 years (PhD) professional experience in an engineering software environment.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple workstreams in engineering or product development settings.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior business managers and lead effective presentations.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with project management software.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
