Description
You will be a staff R&D software engineer working on FPGA prototyping at Synopsys. As a member of our team, you will develop emulation solutions for large-scale designs, ensuring scalability and efficiency. You will engage in software development using C/C++ and synthesizable RTL development with Verilog. You will verify solutions to ensure high performance and reliability throughout the product lifecycle. You will interact with customers during deployment and debug phases to guarantee smooth implementation and address technical challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate emulation solutions into broader chip design and verification workflows. You will maintain and enhance existing emulation solutions to meet evolving industry standards and customer requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering, digital design, or software development. You will be proficient in C/C++ programming and strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts. You will have expertise in digital design principles and HDL languages such as System Verilog and Verilog. You will have experience with scripting languages like Python, Perl, or TCL for automation and workflow optimization. Familiarity with handling large-scale designs in emulation is a plus and will be highly valued.
