McLaren Automotive are looking for a talented Finance Manager - Operations at their Woking office. This role sits at the heart of strategic decision-making, turning financial data into actionable insights for a company that's revolutionising the automotive industry. You'll work directly with leadership to shape the company's direction in the performance car manufacturing sector.
About the Role
As a Finance Manager - Operations, you will be responsible for full financial management and support of performance car manufacturing. This includes business partner support for all associated costs for performance car manufacturing and supporting with delivery on budget & approval of changes through governance processes. You will devise and manage processes for cost tracking, forecasting and reporting, and ensure all Directors and Heads-of have full budget responsibility for their areas.
Accountabilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis across performance car manufacturing sectors, identifying emerging trends, competitive threats, and partnership opportunities that directly inform the company's quarterly strategic planning sessions
- Develop and report against key manufacturing KPIs both financial and non-financial
- Ensure robust development of “best practice” automotive manufacturing techniques and measurement
The Candidate we're looking for
Experience:
- Fully qualified accountant with proven post qualified experience
Technical skills:
- SAP and managing SAP standardization/new processes would be an advantage
Personal attributes:
- Demonstrates a continuous improvement approach to work, including but not limited to, identifying areas for process improvements and implementing robust solutions
